You will add fresh

Assorted meat or fish, spinach or pumpkin leaves, 1 onion, fresh peppers

The recipe – step by step

1. Boil seasoned meat with onion until tender; keep 500ml of the stock.
2. Heat palm oil, fry blended peppers and onion 8 minutes.
3. Add stock, crayfish powder and seasoning cubes; simmer 5 minutes.
4. Whisk ground egusi with a little water into lumps and add to the pot; cook 15 minutes uncovered.
5. Stir in your leafy greens and cooked meat; simmer 5 more minutes.
6. Serve hot with pounded yam, eba or rice.
