You will add fresh

Cold water, ice cubes, sugar or honey to taste

The recipe – step by step

1. Fill a bowl with cold water and plenty of ice.
2. Sprinkle garri over the water – it should float and soften within a minute.
3. Stir in milk powder and sweeten to taste.
4. Top with roasted peanuts for crunch.
5. Eat with a spoon while the ice still crackles.
6. Chin chin on the side makes it a proper afternoon occasion.
